The LBBA has the privilege of holding an open full brass band competition each November.

Our November Brass Band contest known by most people as “The Leicester Contest” is an established event that has in recent years attracted over 70 bands competing. The usual sections (Championship to Fourth) are available, and hopefully with the addition of an Unregistered section (discussions progressing), which is available to bands who are members of our association. Your band does not need to be from Leicestershire to Join, and we would be delighted if any other bands wished to join us.

Occasionally the LBBA puts on other events for its members, and have in the past included Fundraising training and the occasional quiz. We would be keen to hear of any other events our members would like us to consider running.
